The exhibition Clans, Crews and Communities brings together diverse artistic perspectives on community and belonging: from family and cultural background to friendships, neighbourhoods, subcultures and chosen communities. It asks what connects people and where communities draw their boundaries – between closeness and distance, solidarity and exclusion, individual experience and collective identity.
