The Special Guests feat. Willie Ocean geben sich am 20. Dezember 2025 ein rares Stelldichein im Berliner Schokoladen. Diesmal ist neben Frontman und Sänger Willie Ocean auch das Gründungsmitglied und erste Sänger der Band, Leon Ilsen alias Don Leone (1994-2005), mit von der Partie. Manchmal ist einfach Weihnachten und Geburtstag am selben Tag.

Eigentlich hatten sich die Heroen der Third Ska Wave nach fünf Alben und 15 Jahren on Tour schon in die wohlverdiente Offbeat-Rente verabschiedet. Ab und zu aber lassen die Herren bei ausgewählten Gelegenheiten die alten Hits wie „Waiting", „Beetroot" oder „Forget it" wieder live auferstehen. Dabei sorgen sie für eine denkwürdige Tanzparty zwischen Ska und Reggae, Rocksteady und Up-Tempo-Swing. Da bleibt kein Auge trocken und auch das Fred-Perry-Shirt nicht.

The Special Guests feat. Willie Ocean will have a rare rendezvous at Berlin's Schokoladen on December 20, 2025. This time, in addition to frontman and singer Willie Ocean, the founding member and first singer of the band, Leon Ilsen alias Don Leone (1994-2005), is also part of the party. Sometimes it's just Christmas and birthday on the same day. Actually, the heroes of the Third Ska Wave had already said goodbye to their well-deserved offbeat retirement after five albums and 15 years on tour. From time to time, however, the gentlemen resurrect the old hits such as "Waiting", "Beetroot" or "Forget it" live on selected occasions. They provide a memorable dance party between ska and reggae, rocksteady and up-tempo swing. There is not a dry eye and not even the Fred Perry shirt.
