The Beginner's Scarf

Let’s make your knitting journey as easy — and as fun — as possible! While knitting can seem tricky at first, many beautiful pieces start with just one simple stitch repeated again and again.

Who this workshop is for:

Absolute beginners or anyone with some basic knitting experience who wants a refresher.

What you’ll learn:

In this 3-hour workshop, you’ll learn the three essential techniques that form the foundation of all knitting:

Casting on

Knit stitch

Binding off

What you’ll make:

A mini scarf to practice your new skills! During the session, you’ll complete this small piece while learning the foundational techniques of knitting. You’ll leave with the knowledge, pattern, and video tutorials to confidently start your own full-size scarf at home — and the skills to explore other simple projects like blankets or cushion covers.

Small groups:

6 to 8 people

Everyone learns at their own pace, and that’s part of the beauty of it. In this small group (max. 8 participants), you’ll receive plenty of personal guidance to strengthen your skills, feel comfortable with the needles, and understand how each technique works.

Materials:

The workshop includes all materials you’ll need during the workshop. Everything is provided so you can focus on learning and enjoying your knitting.

This workshop is the starting point for your first scarf — the size will depend on your knitting pace, but you’ll leave with the knowledge, pattern, and video tutorials to confidently continue your knitting journey at home and create your own.
