No art experience needed,  just curiosity.About this EventRooted in Color is a 2-hour immersive experience guiding you through a somatic and creative process:  a guided cacao ceremony, storytelling carried from the Amazon rainforest, and a large-format drawing with soft pastels.The cacao we work with is sourced from women-led cooperatives in the Amazon. Before we drink it, we'll share the stories of the women who grow and harvest it - their relationship to the forest, and to this plant long held as medicine and ceremony. From there, we move into embodiment and intuitive art-making, translating what's stirred into motion and color.This isn't about learning how to paint. It's about making space — to feel, to notice, to reconnect, to create without judgment. No previous artistic experience is needed.
