It describes in detail the different states of meditation and spiritual awakening as well as the fundamental principles and ethics of Yoga, Yama and Niyama.Being based on inner experience, rather than exclusively theoretical knowledge, makes this treatise effective for anyone. The Tantric perspective on Yoga Sutras assists us to realise, that not only a safe and direct way to godly ecstasy (samadhi in Sanskrit) is described, but also on how to bring this elevated state of consciousness back to everyday life, outside of our Yoga practice. By achieving a deeper understanding and bringing life and depth to Patanjali’s aphorisms as well as access to the foundation of Yoga and the opportunity to experience samadhi here and now, either due to personal continuous practice or with Tantric practice in a loving couple, is what the Tantric perspective enables us to do.The purpose of this workshop is to reveal Patanjali’s brilliant vision of this path, which is found in all spiritual traditions, the refocussing on our essential Self (Atman in Sanskrit) from our ego (ahamkara).
