Ouri begann im Alter von 5 Jahren Harfe und Klavier zu spielen, doch mit 7 Jahren fand sie ihre Verbindung zum Cello. Als selbsternannte Introvertierte, die lieber allein loszieht, als sich in der falschen Gesellschaft fehl am Platz zu fühlen, kam sie mit 16 Jahren nach Montreal, um ein Studium in Naturwissenschaften zu beginnen – landete jedoch schließlich im Fach Musikkomposition. 

Montreals Rave-Szene war der Ort, an dem ihre künstlerische Arbeit Gestalt annahm, und sie etablierte sich dort als Produzentin und DJ in der Underground-Community. Später führten sie ihre klassischen Fähigkeiten zurück zur Komposition. In verschiedenen Kollaborationen bringt sie ihr Talent ein und lebt ihre Vorliebe dafür aus, sich klanglich in jedes Genre einzufügen und jede Rolle zu übernehmen. Einzigartig in der Musikszene, schlägt Ouri die Brücke zwischen klassischer Tradition und zeitgenössischem Ausdruck.

Ouri began playing the harp and piano at age 5, but at 7 she found unity in the cello. A self-proclaimed introvert who’d rather dash off on her own than feel disconnected in the wrong crowd, she arrived in Montreal at the age of 16 to pursue a degree in science and ended up studying music composition. 

Montreal’s rave scene is where her artistry began to take shape, establishing herself in the underground community as a producer and DJ. Later, her classical skills guided her back to composition. Lending her skills to various collaborations, she feeds on her affinity for fusing sonically into any genre and playing any role. One of a kind in the musical scene, Ouri holds the bridge between classical tradition and contemporary expression.
