# Event Details

- **Event Name**: NB#123 — Pia Huettl & Sygh/Stephanie Gudra ~Mathieu Sylvestre ~Ex-Amputees ~Dong Zhou ~Noisette
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 19 Apr, 2026 at 05:00 pm (+02:00)
- **Event Description**: Outside, things do what they do. We protest but the noise gets louder, the message gets lost. And somehow, in the middle of it, there is still this: a room, some speakers, and people choosing to show up and listen. Noiseberg was never just a concert series. It's a small, stubborn act of making space for the strange, the tender, the difficult, and the loud. Come find warmth in feedback loops and chaotic ondulations—it still matters.

PROGRAMME

Pia Huettl & Sygh/Stephanie Gudra — Percussive Friction
https://www.instagram.com/pia.huettl
https://www.instagram.com/__sygh__
Drums and guitar-with-pedals: a noise duo with raw energy, unwavering and uncompromising. Pia hits and Stephanie bends, both quickly treading past their original intentions until the merged signals shape something new. Experimental in the truest sense—not as a genre label, but as a disposition. What comes out is physical, direct, and made from whatever refuses to stay still.

Mathieu Sylvestre — Unstable Ground https://alrealonmusique.bandcamp.com/album/happy-among-the-nuts-alrn157
Mathieu Sylvestre treats the line between the recorded world and the synthesised one as inherently porous. Field recordings and analogue modules collide and erode each other into electrified sound narratives that blur the boundary between acoustic texture and synthetic pressure. His improvisations shift from show to show, shaped by the room and the moment. Nothing is fixed; everything is in the middle of becoming something else.

Ex-Amputees — Contactless Interference
https://anisamperi.com/
https://teslator.bandcamp.com/
Ani Samperi and Roy Hugues, Noiseberg graduates in the solo category, return together with a set built around the uncanny possibilities of untouched instruments. Electroacoustic microphones pick up what isn't played. A theremin answers to the body's proximity without ever being touched. Wireless signals to modular synths turn distance into the interface and make contact superfluous.

Dong Zhou — Instrument Unbound
https://youtu.be/sCd8x_ETVJM
Dong Zhou's music begins as refusal: Found Violin will not be played the way tradition intended. Treated as a sound object rather than a bearer of classical lineage, it is pushed, redirected, and made strange. Alongside it, the self-built strap-on controller Aromantic Hobby forms the second voice of a duet operated by a single person, turning the odd ensemble into a performance that rewrites its constraints in real time.

Noisette — Low-Pressure Persistence
https://regislemberthe.org
Two cranky mixers feeding back into each other. A handful of electromagnetic devices. Flashes of light. Noisette is Noiseberg's own Régis Lemberthe in a minimal mode that somehow yields maximum depth. The no-input setup has no clear origin point—each element is simultaneously source and response, cause and effect. What emerges is slow, textured, and occasionally rhythmic: an interference pattern that holds its shape against the noise of everything else.

Bruitalismes — Moving Retinal Impressions
https://www.bruitalismes.com/
In the best days, which are when he's around, Maxime Lethelier capture live videos of downstairs sets and broadcasts them upstairs. So you can enjoy the noises from anywhere in the space.
