Erik Leuthäuser is a renowned young singer who uses both the German language and electronics to express his unique musical concept, which lies somewhere between jazz and dream pop. Honest and free of clichés, his music is inspired by his experiences as a young man in the vibrant city of Berlin. Another passion of his is the interpretation of lesser-known songs from the Great American Songbook and Vocalese. Mannheimer Morgen describes him as „a brilliant young singer, regarded as the upcoming voice of German jazz.“ His debut album was nominated for the German Record Critics' Award in 2015. He has sung backing vocals for Quincy Jones, George Benson, Dee Dee Bridgewater and Jacob Collier and recorded albums with jazz legends such as Ken Peplowski, Alan Broadbent and Kurt Rosenwinkel. In 2025, he was nominated in the „Vocal“ category at the Deutscher Jazzpreis (German Jazz Award)."
