Join us in four evenings where the wisdom of tarot meets the art of food. A series of workshops inspired by the four elements — air/swords, fire/wands, water/cups and earth/pentacles.

Following the rhythm of the seasons and the gifts they offer us, we’ll explore the taste of each element and its connection to tarot through four sensory feasts and guided reflections, translating the hidden landscapes of the unconscious into the conscious experience.

1. Air / Swords 16.6

In our first gathering we’ll explore the element of air, linked to the swords in tarot. We begin in spring: the first breath after winter, the season of winds that carry seeds and spread new ideas. We’ll discover different qualities of air and how they help us understand this element in readings. We’ll look at the cards that connect to it and how they do, and finish with a tasting of seasonal foods inspired by air/swords.

2. Fire / Wands 22.7

In our second gathering, we will explore the element of fire, linked to the wands in tarot. We continue in summer: vital force, the energy that creates life. The season of the sun that brings us warmth and clarity, but is also capable of burning. We’ll discover different flames, intensities of light and qualities of strength and how they help us to understand this element in our readings. We’ll learn which cards connect to it and in what way, embodying them through seasonal foods inspired by fire/wands.

3. Water / Cups 24.9

In our third gathering, we will explore the element of water, linked to the cups in tarot. We’ll meet in fall: time of transition, of balance. When the waters begin to go down to the earth, cleansing and healing, leaving us with the essential. We will discover different rhythms and densities of water and how they help us to understand this element in our readings. We’ll learn which cards connect to it and in what way, embodying them through seasonal foods inspired by water/cups.

4. Earth / Pentacles 22.01

In our final gathering we’ll explore the element of earth, linked to the pentacles in tarot. We finalize our sessions in winter: the refuge, the seeming stillness. The season to root ourselves, the moment of fermentation that transforms us beneath the surface. We’ll discover different textures and depths of earth and how they help us to understand this element in our readings. We’ll learn which cards connect to it and in what way, embodying them through seasonal foods inspired by earth/pentacles.

No prior knowledge of tarot is necessary to participate in this event.
