KLEZNIC IS BACK!

Join Shtetl Berlin's annual Klezmer Picnic on July 12.

Before the jam, herbalist and plant-philosopher Shelley Etkin will lead a free workshop combining a hands-on herbal remedy project with discussion about the traditional use of plants as protection, and how these practices weave into diasporist and post-vernacular cultures.

Bring food and drink to share! All are welcome. Donations are warmly welcome and support our free community programming.

LOCATION
We've chosen a central, easy-to-find location in the heart of the park with full accessibility for people with mobility issues. You'll find us just off the main path through the center of the park. If you're arriving from the Hasenheide side, look for us just before the Freiluft Kino; from the Columbia Damm side, we're right after it. If you have any trouble locating us, don't worry—we'll be monitoring our Instagram and Facebook messages as well as email, so feel free to reach out!

Komm zu Shtetl Berlins jährlichem Klezmer Picknick am 12. Juli.

Vor dem Jam leitet Kräuterkundlerin und Pflanzenphilosophin Shelley Etkin einen kostenlosen Workshop, der ein praktisches Kräutermittel-Projekt mit einer Diskussion über die traditionelle Verwendung von Pflanzen als Schutz verbindet und wie diese Praktiken in diasporaische und post-vernäkulare Kulturen einfließen.
