On stage he will tell the stories of his children, parents, and their behaviors, His take on being divorced, or the twists of being in a  relationship with a Vegan, animal rights activist.  He does all this with a smile, and his apparent love of all of them.  He takes simple life moments and experiences, such as being at a local grocery store, or driving with kids, and makes you laugh as if you were there at that moment.  His focuses on clean comedy but can range from Corporate Clean to "R" rated, depending on the request. In the short time he has been performing on stage he has had many great moments and received many laughs.  He was a finalist in the 2007 “Comic of the Yearâ€? competition for Maryland, Washington DC and Virginia. He was the winner of best new talent comic at the Reading Comedy Outlet 2008, and a finalist in the Big Break Comedy Competition in 2009. He currently teaches comedy classes at a local college for aspiring comics, focusing on the business of comedy and writing. Irwin has performed in venues ranging from New York staples such as the Laugh Factory, Comix, Broadway Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club and Gotham Comedy Club, to the Tropicana Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, to more regional clubs such as the The Comedy Zone, Reading Comedy Outlet, Wisecrackers, Cozzys Comedy Club, Liberty Laughs VA, and the Baltimore Comedy Factory. He also participated in the Guinness Book of World Records Longest Consecutive Comedy Show at Magoobys Joke House in 2011. He has also co-produced a comedy variety show for a local public television station in Montgomery County MD. He has worked with many great comics currently touring today such as Michael Winslow, Jimmy "JJ" Walker, Jackie "Jokeman" Martling, and Dustin Diamond, . He has headlined shows in Pennsylvania, Baltimore and Washington DC.
