Eibhlín is a grunge inspired folk band based in Berlin. Eibhlín’s dark, haunting sound encapsulates an almost religious-like experience.
Discussing Ireland’s past and present, Eibhlín fuses the traditional and the contemporary through Irish lyricism,
heavy drones, traditional techniques and a distorted sound that imparts aspects of nostalgia into each piece.
Matching Drapes is a Berlin five-piece tearing through post-punk and Indie rock created their own genre - Indie Punk. Their sound veers from angry to dreamy - drawing inspiration from Wet Leg and Amyl and The Sniffers. Formed in 2023, the band is made up of Jacquie Hirt (vocals),Liam Harrison (guitar), Przemek Sztandera (guitar), Niclas Liebling (bass), and Adrian Lizarraga (drums) and they’ve gained a reputation for infectiously energetic performances as well as lyrics that tackle politics with a side of dark humor. After a first showcase slot at Tallinn Music Week 2025 as well as playing at Reykjavík’s Harpa, the band is hungry for more. Having already brought their contagious energy to Wilde Möhre festival 2025 and opened for Australian artist Divebar Youth at Berlin’s Kantine am Berghain in September, the band is gearing up to end the year with new music for their listeners. Matching Drapes is ready to be heard, you better get ready to listen.
