About this EventA Solo Performance with Alexander Carrillo
This work abstracts 'intimacy and privacy' to public spaces. Reflecting past facets of the performer's private life in sex, drugs and self abuses. The journey reaches into an intimate zone, which is reserved for lovers, and the beloved ones. It recreates different perspectives, life moments, situations of human beings in political, social processes and emotional states.

Alexander Carrillo is a Colombian based in Berlin. A lover of imaginary worlds. A queer ritual artist who firmly believes that life is a journey. A multifaceted artist, and coach - producer. His work delves into socio - educational issues related to gender, identity, culture, and transformation. Focusing on the grotesque and ugly of the human being, seeing it as a mirror of reality. He studies the role of the public and the influence of Indigenous traditions on Western society, and the body as an interface between norms, sexuality, and spirituality, developing a personal - political approach.

HUMAN INTERMITTENT: A JOURNEY abstracts 'intimate and private spaces' to public spaces in relation to the concept of 'private and property'. Based on Milan Kundera's 'light and heavy' the piece recreates from different perspectives, moments of life and situations of human beings in political, social processes and emotional states. Reflecting past facets of the sexual life of Alexander, performer's private life, brought into a public context from a universal perspective.
This piece is also based under the concept of intimacy. It piece challenges the dancer through a physical and real experience to break barriers of his personal space. It invites the audience to explore intimate zones, formally reserved for lovers and close ones. Their desires, thoughts, experiences and frustrations. As a whole it symbolizes the "journey" we make in life through pain and pleasure. Do we have intimacy, what price do we pay for privacy? Private places, secret thoughts, hidden feelings, private memories of dirty thoughts and experiences in a wild meeting with the body.
THIS PERFORMANCE HAS MULTIPLE VERSIONS in duration. From 10 minutes to 60 minutes. And had during the last 11 years since 2014 many collaborators.
