Bring your own food and drink and bring extra to share if you want (no pressure tho). Come if you're 20-something or 30-something but don't worry, we're not checking. If you have an instrument and want to bring it we might jam later on! She's sharing a few songs she's been wanting to sing for a very long time, blending her classical roots with jazz and soul ✨Andrew Wilcox's Ecosystem (formerly the Andrew Wilcox Sextet) is a modern jazz group led by Hartford-based pianist Andrew Wilcox. Featuring band members from the east coast cities of Philadelphia, New York City, and Hartford, the band has a unique chemistry developed through the friendships they have together, their time in different cities across the east coast, and gigs together across multiple different groups.Eco-System is the vessel for much of Andrew's originals. These compositions are a reflection of the times we live in and the interconnected web that we are a part of. We are all part of a greater ecosystem that reflects the changing climate, mental health issues, loneliness, and danger felt by many in the modern world. But, also suggests a path forward through community, vulnerability, music, fellowship and understanding of one another. The Eco-System is continually pushing the envelope forwards, exploring new territory and welcoming all on board to be a part of the experience Eco-System has performed for the Paul Brown Monday Night Jazz Series, Jazz Wednesdays at Black-Eyed Sally's, the Walnut Hill Jazz Series at the New Britain Museum of American Art, and also at the Mosesian Center for the Arts in Watertown, MA.
