With Project Sunshine, GRAND TUNER opens a gateway to a cosmos of sound that sounds familiar like rock, yet constantly pushes boundaries. At times ethereal and psychedelic, at times heavy and earthy, at times driving like a wave that never lets up. Each song stands on its own – yet unfolds a concept that interweaves multiple layers. The band combines dense fuzz riffs, shimmering noise passages, and sacred, almost shamanic overtones with dub echoes, driving rock 'n' roll, and surprising detours toward ska or punk. In addition to classic rock instrumentation, they utilize lap steel guitar, bulbul tarang, Moog, Mellotron, 8-string guitar, and various sounds and samples – a psychedelic toolbox for maximum sonic journeys. The German lyrics oscillate between grim reality and abstract metaphor, and the visuals reinforce the feeling of being in the middle of a hypnotic ritual. GRAND TUNER aren't just a concert—they're a trip.
Einstmals bekannt unter dem Namen Have Blue - inzwischen eben DREIKÖRPER - tourt diese Combo schon seit einigen Jahren durch die Lande und spielt viele Konzerte. Auf ihrer Liste finden sich auch ein paar hochkarätige Festivals wie das "Stoned From The Underground" (Erfurt/D) oder das "Sonic Whip" (Nijmegen/NL). Die Musik ist laut, roh, noisy, oft schnell, manchmal auch langsam, selten sehr langsam und fast nie sogar ultralangsam. Dafür immer verdammt intensiv. Dreikörper mischt Genres wie andere Leute Cocktails mixen - wild, experimentell, gerührt und geschüttelt - ohne Rücksicht auf Verluste. Mit einer unbändigen Energie und dem Mut, musikalische Konventionen zu sprengen, hat sie sich den Ruf als absolute Live-Power-Band erspielt. Dreikörper - Du weißt nie, was passiert.
