- **Event Description**: A special  opportunity to work directly with two leading practitioners of Theatre of the Oppressed: Bárbara Santos and Mariana Villani.About this EventThis workshop explores a theatrical methodology developed through practical applications since 2010 with theater groups and artist-activists from Latin America, Europe and Africa.It focuses on the intersections of gender, race and class from a structural perspective, proposing ways to rethink oppression and the responsibility for change without individualizing the issue.Working with feminist, anti-racist and decolonial aesthetics, participants engage in a collective process through:– exercises and games– body-based and image work– theatrical improvisation– Forum Theatre techniquesThe workshop emphasizes horizontal dialogue and collective creation.
