Three days dedicated to mortality, connection, and joy of life

The Death Festival Berlin creates spaces to consciously engage with death — without pathos, without taboo. More than 40 talks, workshops, rituals, and artistic formats from fields such as medicine, care, grief work, bodywork, philosophy, and the arts invite participants to listen, feel, speak, and take part. From practical end-of-life planning to embodied and creative experiences, the festival focuses on what truly matters: presence, relationship, and aliveness.

The festival is not only about information, but about shared experience and community. Workshops, rituals, talks, and conversations offer opportunities to explore death, dying, and grief together rather than alone.
