Berlin is a melting pot of international artists who come together to share ideas and create works unique to this city. The trio of Portuguese drummer/percussionist Sofia Borges, Japanese pianist Rieko Okuda and Canadian saxophonist Peter Van Huffel is a collaborative project born within and from the energy of the Berlin experimental music scene, merging three individual voices who collectively work to develop a sonic atmosphere of improvised sound through spontaneous connection and communication. Their individual and contrasting backgrounds provide the landscape for their joint explorations on the musical stage, each performance as unique as the next.

Berlin ist ein Schmelztiegel internationaler Künstler, die zusammenkommen, um Ideen auszutauschen und Werke zu schaffen, die einzigartig für diese Stadt sind. Das Trio aus der portugiesischen Schlagzeugerin/Perkussionistin Sofia Borges, der japanischen Pianistin Rieko Okuda und dem kanadischen Saxophonisten Peter Van Huffel ist ein gemeinschaftliches Projekt, das innerhalb und aus der Energie der Berliner experimentellen Musikszene entstanden ist. Es vereint drei individuelle Stimmen, die gemeinsam daran arbeiten, eine klangliche Atmosphäre improvisierter Musik durchspontane Verbindung und Kommunikation zu entwickeln. Ihre individuellen und kontrastierenden Hintergründe bilden die Landschaft für ihre gemeinsamen Erkundungen auf der musikalischen Bühne, wobei jede Aufführung so einzigartig ist wie die nächste.
