Berlino Babel is more than just a show – it’s a long-term project we’ve been developing over the years, with the goal of bringing together the incredibly diverse communities of improvisers living and performing in Berlin.
In this city, people improvise in English, German, Italian, Spanish, French, and many other languages. Berlino Babel creates a space where these communities can meet, collaborate, and play on stage together – each in their own language, and often mixing them freely within the same scene.
The result? A joyful, chaotic, and surprisingly moving experience that reflects the real multilingual life of Berlin. You don’t need to understand every word – the emotion, the rhythm, and the connection speak for themselves.
