BERLINO BABEL 🌍🎭
An improvised theatre show designed to be understood across languages.
Berlino Babel is a multilingual improvisation format born in Berlin and created in collaboration with different improvisation schools, each working in its own language.
On stage, five languages coexist — Italian, French, German, Spanish and English — within the same story.
Clarity is not accidental.
The performance is carefully conceived with a structured system of clarifications, contextual translations and narrative tools that guide the audience through the scenes. Even when you don’t understand every word, you always understand what is happening.
There are no subtitles and no simplifications.
Meaning emerges through relationships, status, emotional dynamics and shared theatrical conventions — making the show accessible, engaging and coherent for everyone.
In a city like Berlin, where many languages and cultures live side by side, Berlin Babel explores how stories can be shared beyond linguistic borders — without erasing differences.
