Ready for the next step in creative sustainability?
Join us for the second workshop of Act.Create.Transform, where we’ll explore how to give new life to everyday materials like old jeans, worn-out pillowcases, and other sturdy fabrics.
During this session, you’ll learn loop stitching techniques and simple ways to transform heavier textiles into practical, beautiful items. Whether you’re completely new to making or already enjoy DIY projects, all levels are welcome.
Geo Gregory will guide you through every stage, from selecting and preparing materials to creating your own upcycled piece to take home.
We have some old materials, but feel free to bring your own jeans, pillowcases, or fabric scraps you’d like to turn into something new.

About the project:
Act. Create. Transform is a series of workshops where participants can learn practical skills – from mending and upcycling to natural dyeing – while reflecting on sustainability and fashion.
We want to help people become more aware of how their clothing choices affect the world and give them the tools to take action. By drawing inspiration from Fashion Revolution’s values and building on Lernlabor’s previous experiences, we aim to create a space where sustainable fashion becomes a personal, practical, and political tool for change.
