Slinky Thing is an eight-piece band that has been playing the music of Steely Dan and Donald Fagen for over a dozen years.

Band leader Bruce Linde says, “Just as jazz players play music from The Real Book, we play music from the Steely Dan and Fagen songbooks. We love and honor the songs but are not a note-for-note tribute band. As great as these songs are to listen to, they’re even more fun to play!"

Tickets are $25 general admission. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door (ATMs are nearby).

The Back Room is an all-ages, BYOB (for those 21+) space, dedicated to (mostly) acoustic music of all kinds. You are welcome to bring your own food and adult beverages with no additional corkage fee. Please note: Under the current circumstances, we recommend masks, even though we are outside. We hope that you are vaccinated, although we do not require it for our outdoor shows. We will continue to socially distance our seats, but you may rearrange them to your liking. And those seats will be standard folding chairs - no comfy couches outside, but they will be comfortably shaded. Only 60 tickets will be sold, and we expect all or most of them to be bought in advance. (Reimbursement for cancellation is guaranteed with 24-hour notice, and rain may cause a cancellation from our end). Please keep in mind that late afternoons can be chillier than expected, even on a warm spring day, especially when sitting still, so bring an extra layer! Cups of water will be available, but it might be a good idea to bring your own drinks/snacks.
