Resilience, Compassion, and the Feminine Principle in Buddhism

Resilience, Compassion, and the Feminine Principle in Buddhism

The stories of early Buddhist nuns narrate their struggles and losses as the very gateway to liberation. How can facing into the challenges of our day actually help us develop greater resilience and compassion?

This weekend explores the journey to liberation, both personal and social, as moving into discomfort and the shadow aspects of our life to recover wholeness and integrity. We explore and awaken the repressed aspects of the feminine through movement, compassion practices, and dialogue.

The Friday evening talk, Buddhism and Gender: Glimpsing into and beyond Patriarchy, is included in this weekend program. Registering for the weekend automatically registers you for Friday night's talk.
