Outside Your Comfort Zone (OYCZ) is a Thursday Night practice focused on doing small, intentional things that feel uncomfortable — and learning from them. Entrepreneurship (and life) regularly ask us to speak up, try before we’re ready, approach uncertainty, and risk being wrong. The good news is: acting through discomfort is a skill you can practice.
During this session, you’ll take part in a series of low-stakes exercises designed to gently stretch your comfort zone in the company of others doing the same. The goal isn’t to impress or push past your limits — it’s to notice what discomfort feels like, practice staying present, and build confidence through repetition.
OYCZ is especially useful if you want to feel more at ease taking initiative, sharing ideas, meeting new people, or trying things before you feel fully prepared. Come once, or return regularly — the more you practice being outside your comfort zone, the easier it becomes.
Thursday Nights @ the eHub are a weekly, drop-in practice for figuring things out.
Each week, we work on a real problem together — practicing problem-solving, creativity, and judgment with curious, thoughtful people.
Come once or make it your Thursday night ritual.
Open to UC Berkeley students.
