We will be talking about art, money, power dynamics and solidarity. This event will be led by Amy Yoshitsu and Katie Giritlian of Specs Studio, a new workers cooperative that is an offshoot from Converge Collaborative, a multimedia workers cooperative that operated from 2020-2025. We will be piloting a new, custom made card deck to discuss how and when to start a workers cooperative or collective, and what operating one entails legally, socially and emotionally. We intend for this program to be of mutual resource for all participants, including the facilitators.Free and open to all.
