Dr. Gooley will explain how these poisons harm rodents and then ripple through our environment, harming owls, hawks, foxes, bobcats, mountain lions, companion animals, and countless other animals while threatening entire ecosystems. She will also share the latest industry attempt to undo the legislative progress and how each of us can help fight back. We'll also introduce a new app that will empower anyone to identify and report rodenticide bait boxes in their communities, turning awareness into action.Immediately following the meetup, we'll put that knowledge into practice with a rodenticide surveillance event where attendees can begin documenting and reporting bait boxes right away.
