Leading With Your Authentic Story

Leading With Your Authentic Story

You want to dig deep within to unearth your truest self. You want to lead from your values. You have a passion that you want to share with the world to make an impact, whatever size.

This takes work, and in this program you have a chance to practice that work. There is no “correct” style of leadership. One size does not fit all. In this program, you will reflect on your most deeply held values. You will dig deep into your own experiences to understand how you can authentically lead others. You will connect with your own story to understand the person you are today and the person you want to be one year from now. And then you will share that story with others to connect, inspire, and lead.

You will not do this alone. This program requires you to build community. As a group, we will model an empowering, supportive, psychologically safe space in which people feel comfortable being their authentic selves and contributing to the benefit of the group. Because of this, you will connect on a deeply human level with the other attendees.

Topics will be customized to the needs of the group, and likely include giving feedback and expressing gratitude, building a support system, developing trust, empathizing, and empowering others. Most essentially, you will develop self-awareness through self-reflection, and you will practice the leadership presence needed to tell powerful, authentic stories.

From this course, you will gain:

Improved leadership presence. You’ll put into practice this skill set that enables a leader to motivate, inspire and connect to others. And you’ll do so with more confidence, having practiced, received feedback, and practiced again.

Practical storytelling skills. You’ll go back to work telling compelling stories about yourself, your product, or your company to your peers, managers, customers, partners, and investors.

Clarity on your authentic leadership style. You’ll have connected with your values and will now lead with them. You will set an example for others through your willingness to be your authentic self.

A broader support network. You will connect deeply with other participants and model what a strong, supportive professional community can be, and you’ll want to keep in touch.

Overall, you will be a fuller, more confident version of yourself.

And of course we'll have a lot of fun!

You will get as much out of the program as you put into it. What exactly do you hope to unearth? Please let me know: YmlsbF9jb2xsaW5zIHwgYmVya2VsZXkgISBlZHU=
