This event is designed for homeowners who are actively considering an ADU or want to better understand where ADU process, costs, and design decisions are headed in 2026. Discover the latest trends in ADU design while strolling through the beautiful neighborhoods of Berkeley with the Inspired ADUs team!

Where we'll meet:

On the day of the tour, we’ll gather at San Pablo Park in Berkeley. Look for us at the picnic tables near Mabel & Russell. We'll continue to our 4 ADUs from there!

Note: We’ll be walking between stops together, but guests are welcome to drive to each location if that’s easier for mobility or comfort.

What we'll see on the tour:

• One 2-story panel kit ADU with custom finishes
• One partial 2-story stick-built 2-ADU under construction
• One 1-story stick-built ADU with owner selected finishes
• One stick-built duplex ADU

What we’ll cover:

• Architectural and interior design ideas from recent ADU projects, including layout strategies, material choices, and space-saving details
• How to choose a reliable, fairly-priced, and high-quality builder for your ADU
• What ADU construction costs look like right now, based on real market data and recent builds
• Current ADU regulations that affect setbacks, size limits, and approvals
• How our ADU feasibility and planning process works, including site constraints, zoning analysis, and early cost modeling
