Devi & The Swell (Devi Cohen Roisman)

In the tradition of heartfelt folk music, acoustic singer-songwriter Devi Cohen Roisman’s soaring vocals and vulnerable storytelling return to The Back Room.

She is delighted to share a body of new and old work and will be joined by a phenomenal crew of collaborators in Devi & The Swell: Meirav Roisman (vocals), Jolana Bishay (vocals), Marie Szuts (viola da gamba), and Jason Rabineau (guitar).

Devi’s songs tenderly find their way into the life’s vulnerable, heartbreaking, and joyful moments. Her storytelling is honed from perspective as a mother, daughter, granddaughter, midwife, dancer, and meaning-seeker. Devi’s songs reach into the human psyche, touching loss, identity, friendship, and love in its many guises.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available here, or if the show is not sold out, you may purchase your tickets at the door before the show.

Doors open one half hour before show time. We accept cash or Venmo only at the door.
