Diego and Alejandra are outstanding teachers who will be with us for three dates only. In their classes, they teach beautiful tango figures, while placing a strong emphasis on tango technique. Wednesdays, April 29th, May 6th & 13th 6:45 pm: check-in 7:00-8:00 pm: beginning tango 8:00-8:30 pm: practica 8:30-9:30 pm: intermediate tango 9:30-10:00 pm: practica The beginner class is open to all levels. The intermediate class is geared towards people who have been dancing for at least three months (12 tango classes). These classes are taught using the terms “leaders” and “followers,” and are inclusive to queer, trans, and non-binary people. No partner necessary; the teachers encourage people to switch partners throughout the class. We encourage everyone to sign up for all three dates, but drop-ins are also welcome. The practicas are included with the classes. Stay, dance, and ask questions! Beginners may stay and watch the intermediate class. Intermediates may arrive at 8:00 to practice together with the beginners. $60 general admission (three classes, beg. or int.) $25 general admission (single class, beg. or int.) $15 student with ID (single class, beg. or int.)
