This workshop series focuses on the philosophy of Ashtanga Yoga and provides detailed guidance on each asana in the Half Primary Series. By cultivating right knowledge, focused attention, and proper alignment, you can deepen your Ashtanga Yoga practice.

These workshops are suitable for everyone — from beginners to regular practitioners. You’re welcome to join just one or attend the entire series.

Workshop Schedule

Sunday October 12 from 9:30–11:30am: Philosophy, Opening Chant, Sun Salutations, and Standing Poses (First Half)
Sunday January 18 from 1-3pm: Philosophy, Standing Poses (Second Half), Jump Back & Jump Through
Sunday April 12 from 1-3pm: Philosophy, Drills for Jump Back & Jump Through, and Seated Poses
Sunday July 12 from 1-3pm: Philosophy, Backbending, Headstand, and Closing Chant
All sessions will be held at the Telegraph studio location.

Wear clothes you can move in, and bring a journal for notes and reflections. See you there!

Cancellation Policy

Workshop registrations may be canceled up to 48 hours prior to the event. After that they are non-refundable.

About Miyuki

Miyuki has been practicing Ashtanga Yoga for over a decade. Her consistent daily practice has shaped her into a strong, confident, positive, hardworking, and peaceful person. She began assisting in the Mysore room under Timothy Lynch in 2017. Miyuki completed her 500-hour teacher training with certified Ashtanga teachers Kino MacGregor and Tim Feldmann in 2020.
