We are proud to announce our next Webinar Jan 6th with an exciting presentation from Prof David Doolette from US Navy Experimental Diving Unit.  David will talk on the question of individual susceptibility for decompression sickness 8DCS).  Is it so that some of us are particular sensitive for DCS and prone to "undeserved DCS"? We have asked him to talk on the epidemiology (what does the "hard data" on DCS counts tell us) and what do the measurements of venous gas emboli (VGE, "silent bubbles") suggest. This will be the main topic of the meeting. 
After this talk Jan Risberg, Diving physician at NUI and consultant at Haukeland University Hospital, will talk on some of the suggested individual risk factors: Overweight, age, physical fitness and sex. Which of these are evidence-based risk factors and which are urban myths?
The webinar will be recorded and made available on our website later, but there will be made no handouts from the presentations for later download.
