Jail Cookies

Berea friends please join me in making cookies for the Berea Friends annual Jail Cookie event, Sunday December 7th 2025!
Each year the Berea Friends Meeting makes plates of cookies for each inmate at Madison County Detention Center (about 300 people).
We make cards and give them blank Christmas cards with stamped envelopes that they can send to their loved ones.
Each plate of cookies has about 12 cookies, two cards and a greeting from us.
If you’re making cookies
*small is best (1-2 inches in diameter)
*home made
*simple recipes like chocolate chip, sugar cookies, or snickerdoodles.
*deliver to 300 Harrison Rd at 12pm on Sunday Dec 7th
