Presentation: You Want to Build a WHAT?
Join Jeff Hutton as he explores the most important tool of the astronomer: the telescope.
Who invented it? It wasn't Galileo.
How do they work?
What's the best kind (for you)?
During this multimedia presentation, you will see the invisible, watch lasers bend and learn just how simple (most) telescopes really are!
We will even witness the unveiling of a completely new telescope that will be the subject of an upcoming Learnshop experience.
Weather permitting, members of the Pinnacles Astronomy Club will introduce you to the beauty of the night sky! View the Moon, double stars, star clusters and even the remains of exploded solar systems that are now only glowing gas clouds.
