BEREA, KY; Spotlight Acting School invites students ages 4–11 to audition for Disney’s Aladdin KIDS!

Everyone who auditions will be cast!
All experience levels are welcome; whether you’re new to the stage or a returning performer.

How Auditions Work: No registration or payment needed to audition. The audition will run the full hour (10:30–11:30 AM), and participants must be present for the entire audition.

🎼 About the Show
Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award-winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin KIDS is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride filled with romance and adventure.

When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie’s magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie, and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin KIDS, a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. Specific to Disney’s Aladdin KIDS are the Djinn, a group of unique stage magicians who execute the magical moments of the show. Casting many Djinn to create the Genie’s magic allows you to involve more young performers.

A large ensemble of Agrabahns round out the cast, ready to fill your stage with the magic of Aladdin KIDS. In order to further dazzle audiences, simple instructions for the magic flying carpet are included in each ShowKit®.

Who Can Audition: Ages 4–11

Audition Process / What to Prepare:

We recommend you prepare a short a cappella song (Happy Birthday is fine). A song is not required to participate, but roles are competitive.
Wear comfortable clothes for movement and group activities
Bring energy, creativity, and a positive attitude
Rehearsals (Saturdays):

Blue Cast: 8:30–9:30 AM
Purple Cast: 10:30–11:30 AM
Dress Week:

Blue Cast: February 21–25 (5:30–7:30 PM)
Purple Cast: February 28–March 4 (5:30–7:30 PM)
Performance Dates:

Blue Cast: February 26–28 (Fri 6pm, Sat 6pm, Sun 2pm)
Purple Cast: March 5–7 (Fri 6pm, Sat 6pm, Sun 2pm)
Tuition & Financial Aid:
Tuition: $105/month
Sibling Discounts: 2nd child 20% off, 3rd child+ 80% off
Costume Fee: $30 due on audition day
