Our meeting will start with a potluck dinner. Bring food to share if you are able. If that's not possible, just bring an appetite. Everyone is welcome! 

This meeting will feature a conversation with Madison County Clerk Kenny Barger, who is the top county official responsible for ensuring a free and fair election process. County clerks and other elections officials and poll workers are essential to our democracy. They have a vital and difficult public job, and too often they also have to withstand pressure from outside forces. 

This conversation is an opportunity for our group to hear from our County Clerk about what it takes to uphold election laws, ensure a fair process, and properly certify results. It's also a chance for Clerk Barger to hear directly from us and understand all the ways We Show Up members are ready to do our part to support a fair election and legitimate results. Come with questions and concerns for this important conversation. 

We'll also discuss other important business, including: 
* ways to support local mutual aid and service organizations
* plans for No Kings Day actions in Berea and Richmond on March 28
* plans for community outreach, listening sessions, and other engagement with hundreds (thousands!) of neighbors across Madison County
* plans for upcoming community defense and non-compliance trainings
