Benzie's first ever Shop Small Crawl will kick off on November 28th, but you'll have until December 24th to complete the crawl and collect as many buttons as you can while helping support our local economy. There aren't only retail stops on the crawl! There are also coffee/food/restaurant stops for enjoying a bite to fuel your shopping or to purchase gift certificates for everyone on your list. When is it? November 28th thru December 24th What is it? A fun way to encourage holiday shoppers to check out some of the unique small businesses in our community and maybe even find a new-to-them spot. How does it work? The crawl starts at Victoria's Floral where you will purchase a Shop Small Crawl tote bag. Between November 28th and December 24th, take your tote bag with you as you do your holiday shopping. When you make a purchase at a participating business, you’ll receive a button to add to your bag. (Just tell them you’re doing the Shop Small Crawl when making your purchase.) If you can't find something you'd like, you can purchase a button for $1 (cash only please). Collect all the buttons and then show us your bag in-person at Victoria's Floral or email your full name, a photo of your completed tote, and tote number found inside the bag to mekasmarketingevents@gmail.com by December 24th to be entered in the Grand Prize drawing. Don’t think you can finish it? You can still win a prize! If you complete at least half the crawl, you're eligible to win the secondary prize. You'll turn your tote in the same way! Are there other ways to win prizes? You can also be eligible for prizes by sharing on social media! Just use the hashtag #benzieshopsmallcrawl to share photos while you’re doing the crawl. You can also share the buttons you’ve collected and your purchases in the discussion section of the "Benzie's Shop Small Crawl 2025 Kickoff Weekend" Facebook event page. Every time you share, you’re entered to win! There will also be some fun additional ways to win smaller prizes along the way, so stay tuned to social media.
