Our Fly Fishing Camp is designed for young women who want to learn the craft of fly fishing or to enhance their skills and knowledge in a supportive and fun environment. There's always something new to learn and new friends to meet.Check-in is Sunday July 12 at 11am, with check-out on Thursday July 16 at 4pm. During this 5-day/4-night event, you will connect with other like-minded young women while exploring the beautiful Shenandoah River State Park. Our experienced instructors will introduce you to casting techniques, designing and tying your own flys, gear maintenance, building your own leader/tippet, and knot techniques. Watershed conservation education and water quality evaluation are also a big part of our camp.This camp is for young women, ages 12-18. The registration fee of $125.00 includes lodging, and all meals and snacks. First time campers will receive tool lanyards and rod/reel kits that become their personal property.
