- **Event Description**: In this summer quilting bee, we will doing a 'go at your own pace' quilt. Each week I will teach how to make a different quilt block. When you can, that quilt block will be done 4 times by you. The last week I will show you how to do borders, batting, and different quilting techniques. 

A supply list will be sent out. A sewing machine is helpful, but woman have also hand sewn quilts for many years! 

As we go, I'll be talking about my experience with quilting the last 30 years, my family legacy, and the history of quilting in Appalachia. 

And we'll have tea ???

Cost- 25.00 per week, first come, first served. Class size is limited to 10.
