On behalf of the Berrien County 4-H Leaders Association, and the Berrien County 4-H Horse Leaders, I would like to introduce you to three scholarship opportunities – the Alumni Scholarship, 4-H Horse Leaders Equine Educational Activity Scholarship and the Joseph Cerny & Evelyn Cerny Memorial Scholarship. Recipients may only receive each scholarship once. Further eligibility requirements are enclosed.
The Berrien County 4-H Alumni Scholarship, annually awards one or more scholarships, for a minimum of $700 each.
The Joseph Cerny & Evelyn Cerny Memorial Scholarship is offered independently of the Alumni Scholarship, also for a minimum of $700.
The Berrien County 4-H Horse Leaders Equine Educational Activity Scholarship annually awards one scholarship, for a minimum of $250

lease review the requirements carefully. An applicant should only submit one (1) application for all three scholarships. Submissions will automatically be placed into the scholarship selection process for eligible scholarships.

All eligible applicants will be interviewed on June 11, 2026, beginning at 5:30 p.m. You will be contacted with a specific interview time and information upon submission. Recipients will be notified by September 1, 2026, and will be awarded their scholarships at the Berrien County 4-H Members and Leaders Recognition Banquet in the Fall of 2026.
