She began her training at the age of five and has since worked with teachers and companies in Mexico, the United States, Egypt, Spain, and India.She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Dance Science from Universidad Europea de Madrid, where she conducted research on the transpersonal and spiritual dimensions of Bharatanatyam, contributing to the field of psychology.She also holds a Master’s in Art Didactics and Psychological Education, and has specialized training in Transpersonal Psychology from Pneuma Institute, where she currently serves as a professor and therapist.For Shamti, dance is a path of transformation and a gateway to the divine. She is the founder and director of Pneuma Dance, based in Oxford (United Kingdom), from where she shares the transformative power of Bharatanatyam and other sacred traditional dances with students around the world, always honoring Indian culture and lineage.Since 2017, she has trained under the discipline and guidance of her guru, Smt. A disciple of her parents, Sri T.K. Narayan and Smt.
