📍 Meet at: The Bendigo Sign, at the corner of View Street and Pall Mall, near the fountain.

There’s plenty to see and sketch around View Point — Alexandra Fountain, the beautiful View Point buildings, statues, the Bendigo Sign, the Soldiers’ Memorial building and Rosalind Park in the background. And if we’re lucky, perhaps even a tram stopping at the nearby tram stop! 🚋

Bring along your own chair, sketching materials, water/drink, hat, sunscreen and anything else you need to enjoy a relaxed morning of creativity and connection.

✏️ How it works

When you arrive, introduce yourself to Kim Lowe, the event organiser, then find yourself a spot to sketch. You can sketch independently or buddy up with other sketchers and enjoy the morning together.

Sketch your chosen scene, then meet back at the Bendigo Sign at 12 noon for a sketch throwdown! We’ll share what we’ve created and celebrate the wonderful variety of ways we see and capture Bendigo.

All abilities and sketching mediums are welcome — from quick pencil sketches to watercolour, ink, markers and everything in between.

🚗 Parking: The QEO car park at the top of View Street, behind Rosalind Park, may be the easiest option for parking.
