How much can a machine really "think"?

These school holidays, Discovery is hosting intergenerational workshops designed for young discoverers and the special older people in their lives to learn, create, and explore together.

In this hands-on Mind & Machines workshop, we’ll explore how technology can help us think, create, and solve problems. Together, we’ll investigate how machines “think,” how they recognise patterns, generate ideas, assist with design, and shape the way we live and learn.

These Intergenerational Learning Days are made possible thanks to the support of the City of Greater Bendigo. They’re designed for children aged 3–17 and adults aged 55+, with a focus on sparking curiosity and connection across generations through shared, hands-on learning.
