This two-day intensive is for anyone interested in learning more about research methods and gaining practical research skills.
Mastering Methods includes 16 workshops facilitated by expert researchers. Key program highlights: evaluation for practice, arts based methods, digital storytelling, photovoice, conducting systematic reviews, designing clinical trials, grounded theory, codesign, internationalisation, and methodology.

Following day one of workshop on Friday you are invited to stay for drinks, nibbles and networking followed by a free public lecture delivered by Dr Christina West who will be speaking about "Exploring Illness through the Expressive Arts: New Possibilities for Healing in Families". Registration is free for La Trobe University academic staff and post-graduate students. There is a small registration fee for all other guests. The event is designed for anyone who is engaged in research and evaluation, including health professionals, government staff, policy makers, community development workers, academic staff and post-graduate students.
