THIS IS A COSTUME EVENT. DO NOT SHOW UP WITH JUST A 'SANTA CAP' AND REGULAR CLOTHES. LET'S HAVE FUN WITH THIS AND SHOW SANTACON INTERNATIONAL WHAT LIL O' BEND CAN DO.
Hoe, hoe, hoe! It's getting to be that time of year, time for Santa Con!
Huh?? What the hell is Santa Con? Well come sit on Santa's lap and he'll tell you all about it. :o
Santa Con is a worldwide event when Santas of all Christ-fearing nations have a "convention". The build up to Christmas can be very stressful for Santa, so one night a year he gathers with other Santas, Mrs. Clauses, reindeer and elves and imbibes in pure debauchery! Santas are obnoxious, consume alcoholic beverages, and sing naughty XXXmas Scarols. Santas crave anarchy but Santa must behave somewhat and follow these rules:
1. Santa will call Santa, "Santa".
2. Santa will be respectful of everyone, Santa and non-Santa.
3. Santa will not destroy property.
4. Santa will not exit from doors marked, "emergency exit".
5. Santa will not puke in public.
6. Santa will not get arrested.
7. Santa will be 21 yrs. or older.
8. Santa will not guide his sleigh while intoxicated
9. Santa will spread Holiday cheer
10. Santa will have one helluva good time!
HERE'S WHERE WE MEET AND WHERE WE'RE GOING:
Everyone MEETS IN THE COURTYARD OUTSIDE OF THE COMMONS NEAR THE BACKSIDE OF THE BREEZEWAY for group pictures. Layer up and dress warmly.
*What happens: with a flash mob mentality (it's important that the swarm stays together), we 'rudely' enter an establishment either from the front door or sometimes the rear, everyone sings Jingle Bells loudly. Some will imbibe. The Santas say "ho-ho-ho" a lot, and upon arriving and leaving say "Merry Christmas".
Tentative itinerary (please stay together for the effect):
6:15 - We will walk through the breezeway at Bellatazza, take a right and make our way down Wall to JC's Grill ~ home of the Giant Jenga!

7:30 D&D, with overflow at Corey's #2
8:30 M&J Tavern, stop #3
9:30-10pm, Okanes (opt.)

Remember: This is a costume event. Santa looks like Santa, Mrs. Clause looks like Mrs. Clause, reindeer and elves look like reindeer and elves. Santa is JOLLY. If you plan to get a little extra jolly, please bring a designated reindeer or take a taxi/uber home. You may bring up to 5 guests, the more the merrier. Your guests MUST be in costume.
