Their festival appearances include two performances at the nationally renowned Summer Camp Music Festival and a slot at Little Stranger and Andy Frasco’s inaugural Holy Smokes! Festivall, solidifying their status as a band built for the big stage.

They’ve shared bills with an eclectic list of legends and rising stars, including Sting, WAR, The Motet, Pepper, HER, Turkuaz, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Dragon Smoke, The Main Squeeze, and many more. Following their debut album Back From Nowhere and 2022’s Day Late, Dollar Short, the band continues to expand its reach - including a 2024 collaboration with The Cheyenne Symphony Orchestra to explore new sonic territory and a series of new singles to be released in 2026-2027, including their newest song, Get in the Van. Float Like a Buffalo has toured nationally and internationally, earned accolades like Westword’s Best Funk Band and 303 Magazine’s Top 30 Rock Bands, and garnered praise for their “mighty, melodious, sing-along surge…funky footings and mug-melting peaks” (The Wax King).
