As a region in general, we are thrashing around “doing stuff” and then (at best) praying that what we are doing will work. This is foolish and doomed to failure, as evidenced by our current situation, which continues to worsen, despite all our "doing."The truth is that all lasting transformation begins with prayer, followed by wise, Spirit-directed action.
