Bend Pops announces our winter concert date and theme! We're bringing you some great tunes on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2PM in the Mountain View HS auditorium. As always, admission is FREE and no tickets are required.
We're allowing you to indulge in a little extra "screen time" -- guilt-free! No doom scrolling involved. We're bringing you some fantastic video game and TV-themed music this concert! There's something for everyone.
Video game music? Really? Really. If you're not familiar with this genre, we can assure you it's come a LONG way from the plinky old 8-bit sound of old. Today's video game music is seriously orchestral, and even has its own category for Grammy awards. As a matter of fact, we're performing Baba Yetu by Christopher Tin, which was the first video game theme to be nominated for and win a Grammy in 2011, in the category Best Arrangement, Instrumental and Vocals.
Come for an afternoon of fun music, home-baked cookies, and coffee. Admission is FREE!
Our concerts are free to the public, but your contributions are greatly appreciated. All donations go directly to bringing our music to the people of Central Oregon. Donations to the 501(c)3 non-profit Bend Pops Orchestra are tax deductible. You can make donations at our concerts or give online at BendPops.org. Thank you for your continued support!
