Rupert’s “Trash Fash Bash” Garden Party

TRASH FASH BASH! This is a garden party at Rupert’s place with live music and a costume theme. Which is trash fashion. Wear clothing that is made of, or attached to, trash or recycled stuff. Or at least attach egg cartons to your T-shirt! It’s easy, not difficult. Use your hotmelt glue gun! We’re going to have a runway of red carpet on pallets. We will be entertained by the incredible blues singer Rachel Cruse, opened by Dave “Nomad” Miller at the koi pond.

The trash fashion theme has existed in the Santa Cruz area for over eight years, organized by Richard Sundance Owen. Based on the Big Sur fashion show, and which also caused a stir at the Met. He’s the guy who built the incredible art piece “Plastic Planet” which I took to unScruz. We are continuing the tradition!

I will post a link to an album of fashion ideas used at previous trash fashion events. If kids can do it, so can you! We’ll have five costume prizes!
