Pathway to Dignity

The BSO brings the Paths to Dignity Project to Bemidji. The Paths to Dignity Project weaves homeless advocacy with music to inspire, educate, bring hope to and rekindle dignity. Lucas Richman's "Concerto for Violin: Paths to Dignity" is the springboard for community engagement activities that forge relationships between musical institutions and homeless advocacy organizations. Also featured in this concert are the Overture by Christopher Hart and Symphony No.5 "Reformation" by Felix Mendelssohn. Featuring violinist, Mitchell Newman, formerly of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra.
