Holidays at Camp is a festive, family-friendly program at Camp Tahuaya that brings the magic of the season to the outdoors. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, explore the camp’s scenic trails, and make new memories together in a fun, welcoming environment.
Accommodations are available for rental, including cabins, family suites, wall tents, and bring-your-own-tent campsites, and guests can also purchase a meal pass to enjoy meals in the Lakeside Bistro. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the season while experiencing the charm and adventure of Camp Tahuaya.

Saturday Activities
Polar Bear Canoeing Challenge: Enjoy kayaking and canoeing! Canoeing is open to ages 5 and up (with an adult), while ages 10 and up can try kayaking. All participants will be provided with PFDs for safety and staff will help learn how to boat. This hands-on experience is exclusively for those with an Adventure Pass.
Gone Ice Fishing (without the ice): Cast a line and reel in some off-the-charts engagement with Gone Ice-Fishing (Without the Ice). We’ll provide the gear and bait; you provide the competitive spirit. This hands-on experience is exclusively for those with an Adventure Pass.
Sweet Creations: Gather at the Lakeside Bistro for a high-impact burst of holiday cheer. Decorate cookies, sip hot cocoa, and put your creative muscle to work in the “Sweet Creations” contest! This hands-on experience is exclusively for those with an
Adventure Pass.
Wood-Burning Holiday Ornaments: Activate your creative pipeline in the Holiday Makerspace, where participants craft custom wood-burned ornaments, perfect for a holiday keepsake! This hands-on experience is exclusively for those with an Adventure Pass.
Family Fun Zone: The Family Fun Zone is packed with outdoor yard games, picnic tables, and playground fun for all.
Holiday Movie Night: Join your fellow campers in the Makerspace Lab 2 for your choice in Holiday Movie Night at Camp Tahuaya! Bring your blankets and snacks! Popcorn will be included.
Sunday Activities
Robots: Build and program robots in our Robotics Lab while developing hands-on STEM skills. This hands-on experience is exclusively for those with an Adventure Pass.
Perler Bead Creations: Design, color, and create your own pixel art with Perler beads! Campers craft unique patterns and melt them into fun keepsakes to take home. This hands-on experience is exclusively for those with an Adventure Pass.
Leatherwork: Join us in the Makerspace Lab 1 for Leather Working that includes a take home a craft. This hands-on experience is exclusively for those with an Adventure Pass.
Trail Club: Join your fellow campers for a fun walk around Camp Tahuaya! Explore the trails together, enjoy the fresh air, and make new friends along the way.
